Brief description for the project:
Optical table platforms are widely used in the opto-mechatronics applications. Especially in optical experiments that require higher degree of accuracy and resolution. Optical tables are designed to isolated the table top from any vibration that might appear and hence affect experiments being done. This research is mainly about how to do isolate table top from vibrations and modeling of a typical optical table with drawings about how to design a typical table.
Challenges of the project:
Working on projects like the optical table requires continuation and further hard work. The control of the table need to be improved. For example, working on the supports and air springs and simulate the motion of air spring should be enhanced.
